Contractor Estimate Pro Guides

Contractor Estimate Pro is an estimating app for iOS and Android. You build bids from your own labor, equipment, material and sub costs, add your markups, and send a clean PDF. No spreadsheets. Your libraries, templates and estimates live on your phone or tablet, and the app works offline.

These guides follow one example sitework job from start to finish, built around one pay item: 750 LF of silt fence. Set up your company and rates first, then build the bid, send it and track it. The screens shown are from an iPad. Phones look much the same.

Start here

Set up your company header and PDF options: Company Header (name, company information, logo, custom text) and terms and conditions presets in Customer Estimate Options.

Build your libraries: labor, equipment and materials: your hourly rates and unit costs, entered once and used on every bid.

Make crew templates with production rates: labor and equipment with counts, a Total Cost/hr and a Production Rate. The app figures the hours.

Do I need a subscription?

Only to create and edit estimates. Libraries and Settings are free to use, including adding and editing your labor, equipment, materials and crews, so you can set up everything before you subscribe. The Pro subscription starts with a 30-day free trial through Google Play or the App Store. Start it from Settings → Subscription.
