Eos Arrow Setup for RoverCore

The steps below are for Android and follow standard NMEA over Bluetooth. Check on a known point before you rely on it.

On iPhone: RoverCore connects over Wi-Fi (TCP), not Bluetooth. The receiver needs NMEA output over Wi-Fi TCP. Check the receiver's manual or vendor app to see if your model offers it, and to get its IP address and TCP port. Some Bluetooth-only receivers can't connect to an iPhone. If yours can, turn on the same NMEA messages on that output and follow the iPhone steps in the connect guide.

Models: Arrow Gold+ (ANT-FBANT), Arrow 200 / Gold (ANT-L1L2L5), Arrow 200 legacy (ANT-0504E2).

Out of the box, an Arrow already sends the NMEA RoverCore needs. Most of the setup is making sure nothing else is doing corrections or height.

What you'll need

• The Arrow charged and on

• Eos Utility, only if someone changed the NMEA settings

• RoverCore on your phone

Steps

1. Pair the receiver named "Arrow …". On Android, pair it in Bluetooth settings first. No baud rate to set.

2. Leave the factory NMEA on: GGA, GSA, GST, GSV, RMC, VTG and ZDA. GST is the accuracy RoverCore uses.

3. If someone changed it, open Eos Utility, put GGA and GST back on the Bluetooth port, then tap Save Settings & Disconnect.

4. Don't run Eos Tools Pro's NTRIP client while RoverCore forwards RTCM.

5. Don't enter antenna height in Eos Tools Pro. Enter it only in RoverCore.

6. Link it in RoverCore on Connect (connect guide).

Antenna height

Tape to the bottom of the Eos mounting plate and pick your model in RoverCore (antenna height guide). RoverCore adds the plate:

No Eos plate? Set Model to Custom and enter the bare antenna value from Eos.

Tips

• One corrections source. If RoverCore forwards RTCM, keep Eos Tools Pro's NTRIP off.

• One place for height. RoverCore only.
